Ocarcoke Island, August 2011

Angela and I had a great Birthday (August 17, 2011) adventure on Ocracoke Island. We body surfed the waves, camped under the stars and got eaten alive by mosquitoes and no-see-ums. Late night, with a bottle of wine, under a full moon, next to a bonfire, on the beach was pretty magical though. Looking forward to going back one day and perhaps sleeping indoors. The daily catch was delicious too! Where to next? Maybe Cuba!

So we didn't keep up with the blog

Maybe one of these days I'll add some photos and comments about the rest of our amazing adventures in Europe and everywhere in-between.

As most of you know, we are back in the States and bogged down in university. Our studies are going well; me: Appropriate Technology and AgroEcology and Angela: Technical Photography. One of these days I'll be teaching Renewable Energy Tech. and Farming Sustainably on our Homestead, all the while being Angela's faithful assistant for her booming photography business (that's one hopeful scenario).

We've still been traveling stateside, and had a wonderful warm summer in Utah. We'll be heading up to NY for spring break and I'll be heading to Nicaragua for 2 weeks in May and Angela might be Northbound to Maine. So as you can see, our travel bug is still biting. I hope everyone is well and warm this cold cold winter. We'll see you soon!
